Working hard and the thrill of a job well done mean the most to me. You can be sure when we work together that I will put my all into giving you the product you want and one of which we both can be proud.

I have won many awards in different fields over the course of my career including honors for reporting, commentary, video production and community service.

My reporting includes newspapers, magazines, radio, television and online media. I have award-winning performances on both sides of the camera. More importantly, I bring dedication and a strong work ethic to jobs big and small.

My investigative reporting has won awards. More importantly, it has made changes. In the course of my career, I have stayed in the action as much as possible.

If I have favorite works, they are my documentaries. We won three Telly awards for for the KLRN-TV (San Antonio, Texas) production, World War II: In Our Words. Though told by San Antonio residents, the documentary tells stories of the war from a global perspective. Our companion piece, Heroes, tells the stories of three Hispanic Medal of Honor recipients, and how their families and the community work to preserve the memory of the men's gallantry.

USS Lexington: Always Ready! is the official video of USS Lexington Museum on the Bay in Corpus Christi. The Silver Telly winner was produced for the museum andKEDT-TV in Corpus Christi, Texas. I even got to stay aboard the World War II aircraft carrier as I prepared what would be my first national award-winning documentary. Besides picking up awards, the KEDT TV production was shown on several stations across the country.
